These photos were taken in Villa Hanbury Botanical Gardens (“Giardini Botanici Hanbury”) on the beautiful Capo Mortola peninsula on the Ligurian Riviera, a few kilometers from the French border. Built by British entrepreneur, philanthropist and botanist Sir Thomas Hanbury, the garden is home to thousands of native and exotic plants, including, among many others, salvias, agaves, aloes, palms, and cacti. Enjoy!
